ZCB-Performance is straight forward to document; 65 percent of projects are awarded certification after a single review.
The ZCB-Performance Workbook (recently updated) assists teams in capturing their project’s success in a way that is easy for the CAGBC reviewer to verify. Projects that require an additional review are often missing one of the following items.
- A copy of the service invoices or logs kept regarding refrigerant recharge. Proof of purchase and eligibility for carbon offsets.
- Supporting documentation (references) if any custom emissions factors are used.
- The online registration process requires accepting the terms of the Zero Carbon Building Certification Agreement. If the online registration was completed by an individual other than the building owner, provide a completed Confirmation of Agent’s Authority form in the submission. Alternatively, the owner can sign a new agreement.
To ensure a seamless certification review, please complete the Submittals checklist in the workbook ensuring all relevant documentation has been provided.
