Updated Zero Carbon Workbooks

CAGBC has posted the updated Zero Carbon Building – Performance v2 Workbook and Zero Carbon Building – Design v3 Workbook for immediate use. As stated in the Zero Carbon Building Standards, applicants should use the most recent version of the Workbooks at the time of submission. They may opt to use the version available at the start of the performance year being evaluated (for ZCB-Performance) or at the time of registration (for ZCB-Design) provided that the emission factors from the most recent version are applied.

The workbooks include the following updates:

• Current emissions factors;
• Expanded list of refrigerants;
• Minor additions and corrections for ease of use;
• Edits to the Submittals and Summary tabs for clarity; and,
• Sections to add reference numbers to Interpretations used in compliance.
