Strengthen your market position and grow your business at Canada’s premier green building conference. CAGBC invites corporate members to submit presentation proposals for Building Lasting Change, June 19-20 at Vancouver’s JW Marriott Parq.
With the demand for sustainability transforming the real estate landscape, now is the time to showcase your expertise. Connect with the country’s most influential green building professionals and decision-makers who are driving the transition to resilient, low-carbon assets.
Present your expertise in one of two dynamic streams
The Business Stream – Where Green Building meets ROI
Are you a building owner or investor who’s unlocked value through green building strategies? Share your success securing capital, managing transition risks, and meeting reporting requirements through carbon disclosure, improved valuations, or innovative financing models. This stream will demonstrate how certified green buildings are investor-worthy, resilient to future risks, and positioned to support new financing models and reporting frameworks. Your real-world solutions will help decision-makers simplify the complexities of decarbonization while maintaining or improving asset value and insurability.
The Technical Stream – The Right Solutions, Right Now
Leading the way in high-performance building solutions? Your proven strategies in emissions reduction, energy efficiency, or resilient design are in high demand. Share your expertise in Zero Carbon Building Standards™, LEED®, or IREE™ certification. This stream will examine rating systems, cutting-edge strategies, and technologies for both new and existing buildings. Whether you’ve mastered green affordable housing, slashed embodied carbon, or developed transition planning strategies, your technical solutions will help peers create buildings that support both occupants and communities.
Presentation criteria
Each stream will feature three to six one-hour sessions, delivered in-person as part of the learning program. Sessions should combine presentations with engaging discussions and interactive audience participation, focusing on enhancing resilience and accelerating decarbonization through practical, implementable solutions.
This opportunity is exclusively available to CAGBC corporate members. Visit our online platform for detailed submission criteria and begin your application today!
