Today, the Canada Green Building Council announced the new date and location of its annual conference, Building Lasting Change. The conference returns to Toronto on June 5-6 and includes the popular gala celebration where the winners of the CAGBC Awards are announced.

The Building Lasting Change conference is where Canada’s green building community comes together to share, learn, and connect. It offers attendees access to the influential experts shaping the future of Canada’s built environment with learning streams designed to inspire and inform. 2024’s program will include forums and sessions that focus on accelerating the business and practice of green buildings, including evolving green building policies and standards, advancing resiliency, transition planning, greening affordable housing, and zero carbon design and performance.

Who should attend?

If you are part of Canada’s building sector, then Building Lasting Change is for you. Attendees include anyone involved in the financing, design, construction and operation of green buildings, including architects and engineers, builders, financiers and investors, real estate owners, managers and REITs, policymakers, manufacturers and academics.

New venues

Building Lasting Change is moving to a new downtown location in 2024. The Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre will play host to the conference sessions, while the Arcadian Court Ballroom will be the venue for the CAGBC Awards Gala. Conveniently located in Toronto’s Financial District, BLC’s new venues offer direct access to the TTC subway, Union Station and Billy Bishop airport.
