Board of Directors ratified at AGM

The Canada Green Building Council formalized its new Board of Directors at its Annual General Meeting, held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel on June 20, 2024.

CAGBC’s volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of leaders representing a cross-section of the building sector. Their collective knowledge and experience aids CAGBC in advancing the adoption of zero carbon buildings and sustainable practices. This year, four seats were open for election to a three-year term, and the results are in:

  • Ailey Roberts, Global Head of Sustainable Investing at BentallGreenOak is returning for a second term after being elected for the Real Estate Managers & Tenants seat.
  • Nisha Agrawal, Director of Sustainability at QuadReal Property Group is returning for a second term after being elected for the Commercial Real Estate Owners & Developers seat.
  • Kit Milnes, Vice President, Sustainability & Resilience at KingSett Capital was elected to the At Large seat. This is Kit’s first term as a Member of the Board.
  • Emma Schindler, Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Ash Grove (CRH Canada Group Inc.) at was elected to the Product Manufacturers, Suppliers and Retail seat. This is Emma’s first term as a Member of the Board.
