Who we are
Building our way forward
The Canada Green Building Council champions green buildings because they are healthier for people and the planet. We believe green buildings are a cost-effective solution for carbon reduction, job creation, and innovation. By transforming our communities with zero-carbon green buildings, we can put Canada on a path to a more sustainable future.
What We Do
CAGBC encourages green building by supporting the people who design, construct and operate buildings. We provide the building sector with innovative standards, verification services, education, and training. Our market research and government advocacy efforts encourage the programs, investments, and policies that will accelerate climate-friendly, zero-carbon buildings, and retrofits.
